Studio Director
The Studio Director will implement the direction, policy and leadership of the firm. This individual will be is responsible for the overall quality control of the work produced by the group. The Studio Director will assist with staffing projects and leading teams to achieve success.

Responsibilities

• Oversees a group of project managers, project architects, designers and other staff
• Assists with hiring staff for departments, advocates/contributes to mentoring, committed to the concept of project excellence and continuous improvement, conducts timely performance reviews
• Ensures timely and appropriate project budgets, schedules, fee allocation, staffing, quality documentation, design and construction
• Attends/leads key client meetings and makes presentations to clients and city staff
• Develops and nurtures client relationships; helps to develop strategies to meet and exceed clients’ needs and expectations

Qualifications

• 15 or more years of Architecture experience within the Southern California Multifamily/Hospitality/Mixed-Use Residential Industry
• BA/BS in Architecture; Registered Architect preferred
• Extensive knowledge of IBC/ADA codes
• Well-rounded management and design experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the Design Development, Construction Document and Construction Administration phases of a project while working directly with the Department Supervisor. Coordinating the project with studio personnel, outside consultants and the Client to ensure the project runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires working knowledge and or experience in Revit.

He/she must have a thorough working knowledge of Industry Standards as they relate to Project documentation for client, city, and or other approval.

He/she will support the Department Leader in order to maintain and develop a successful working environment.

Responsibilities
•Successfully developing and expanding on current relationships as well as new clients
•Work closely with in-house staff, coordinating with the design & interiors studio
•Review all work and follow guidelines in relation to budget, scheduling and quality control
•Manage project team, including sub-consultants and client representative
•Improve and assist in maintaining department manuals

Qualifications
•BA/BS Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
•Must possess knowledge of all building codes, ADA accessibility
•Experience in various markets to include, Los Angeles and San Diego
•Experience in Multi-Family Mixed-Use projects in Type III, Type V & Type I construction
•10+ years of experience, preferably in project responsibility; Licensed Architect and LEED AP preferred
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•An entrepreneurial spirit and strong professional demeanor
•Established approach to decision-making and problem-solving
•Artistic environment
