PROJECT ARCHITECT/PROJECT MANAGER
The Project Architect candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Design Development, Construction Document and Construction Administration phase of a project while working directly with studio leadership. These responsibilities include coordinating the project with studio personnel, outside consultants and the Client to ensure the efficient and effective completion of the project design, documentation, and construction administration process including:

•Managing the project team, including sub-consultants and client representative
•Working with in-house staff, coordinating with the design & interiors studio
•Review all work related to the completion of construction documents, including drawings and specifications, and follow guidelines in relation to budget, scheduling and quality control
•Working in a team environment
•Improve and assist in maintaining department standards

Qualifications
•BA/BS Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution preferred
•Must be knowledgeable in current building codes, ADA accessibility codes
•Experience in various markets including Orange County CA, Los Angeles and San Diego
•Experience in Multi-Family Mixed-Use projects in Type I, Type III and Type V construction
•7-10 years minimum of residential experience with proven project responsibility
•5+ years of multifamily experience with project leader responsibility

Job Captain
The Job Captain is responsible for monitoring a project from concept through construction. He/she will support each project, coordinating with all those involved to ensure production is feasible and successful.

Responsibilities
•Successfully manage project work within the Design Development and Construction Document phases for multifamily and mixed use projects utilizing Revit
•Maintain involvement during construction administration, construction coordination and construction documents phase
•Review all work and follow guidelines in relation to budget, scheduling and quality control
•Maintain relationships and good communication with staff, consultants, contractors and city agencies

Qualifications
•BA/BS Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
•5+ years experience, preferably in project responsibility; LEED preferred
•Excellent organizational and communication skills
•An entrepreneurial spirit and strong professional demeanor as well as design sense
•Established approach to decision-making and problem-solving, particularly within a strict timeframe
•Proven experience with AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp, minimum 5 years Revit proficiency in a team environment
•Knowledge of construction types and current codes
•Ability to direct and guide others on organization of drawings, files, etc.
•Ability to apply standards to drafting and documentation
