Located directly to the east of the University of Southern California Medical Center in Central Los Angeles, this unique student housing project will bring to market a total of four, four bedroom housing units. The spacious units are placed symmetrically on the building’s two upper levels with tuck under parking at grade below. Both upper levels feature a central, open air common lobby/ lounge between units with a floor to ceiling vertical slatted screen oriented to capture the landscaped park to the west and spectacular sunset views.

The building, elevated above the street by the site’s original sloping topography, is designed as a simple, clean extruded cube that gives the two upper levels the appearance of “floating” above the ground with a calm, commanding street presence. The perimeter landscaping, landscape trellises along with the monochromatic color palette, slatted screens, accent siding and lighting strategies are carefully articulated to create a cohesive sculptural statement.
